Ruthie Dineen

Ruthie Dineen, born in Fairfield, CA, discovered her passion for piano at an early age. Her love for music deepened during her college years at UC Berkeley, studying abroad in Chile, and later living in Costa Rica.
In December 2012, Ruthie earned a performance degree in Jazz Studies from the California Jazz Conservatory. Currently, she serves as the Executive Director of Programs at the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts in Richmond, CA.
A founding member and co-leader of the original music ensembles RDL+ and Negative Press Project, she also performs with prominent Bay Area bands, including Amie Cota, N’Rumba, Candela, and Somos el Son, among others.
